We are Chartered Insurance Brokers providing a broad client base with professional advice in all areas of risk.
Established in 1988, we are the leading member of a professional service group of companies employing in excess of 150 employees across three offices in North Manchester, Nottingham and London. We specialise in the placement, risk management and audit of corporate insurance programmes for international banking institutions through to new start size enterprises.
We are one of the few remaining truly independent insurance brokers in the UK in that we are not owned by an insurer, are not a member of a broker network, nor are we owned by a consolidator.
Working with a Chartered Insurance Broker
We take pride in being one of only a small minority of UK Insurance Brokers to have been awarded ‘Chartered Insurance Broker’ status by the Chartered Insurance Institute, the professional body responsible for recognised standards within the insurance industry, whilst remaining to hold IS9001 and Investors In People accreditation.
We embrace ‘social responsibility’ by putting something back into communities through ‘people organisations’. Corporate social responsibility is an integral part of our everyday activities which we embrace through our nominated charities.
In this way, we actively embrace ‘social responsibility’. We encourage activities that have a positive effect on the environment and communities.
Charities we support
We are patrons of The Carers Trust, a national charity formed in 2012 by the merger of ‘The Princess Royal Trust for Carers’ and ‘Crossroads Care’. The Carers Trust works to improve support and provide services and recognition for those who live with the challenges of caring, unpaid, for a family member or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or addiction problems.
We are also patrons of Bolton Lads and Girls Club, whose aim is to help young people become the happy, caring and responsible citizens of tomorrow. The Club also provides intensive support, guidance and training for some of the area’s most ‘at risk’ youngsters via mentoring in one-to-one and group sessions, The Club is committed to providing opportunities that recognise and respect cultural differences. It encourages integration and inclusive activities that enable full participation from all of the town’s communities and young people of all abilities.
